ARENA
The superb
international floodlit athletics arena is the base for six of
Britain's best national event coaches and the home to one of the
region's premier clubs, City of Stoke AC.
The club has
excellent provision for athletics development at both
participation and performance levels. The deeply forged
partnership between the club and the stadium has enabled Northwood
to become one of the UK's best training facilities and host to large
and small local, county, regional, national and international
events.
Northwood is a
regional coaching centre, with regular courses for coaches and
athletes of all ages and abilities.
THE NORTHWOOD
PAVILION
The Scandinavian Chalet has a large
lounge with seating for 30 persons, a kitchen and a small meeting
room which can accommodate up to 16. Ideal for social
events, lectures, meetings and fitness classes. The Pavilion
is also equipped with video and overhead projection equipment.
LOCATION
Just one mile from Hanley town
centre and two miles from Stoke Station, the Stadium is
very easy to reach from anywhere in the country.
