A depleted senior men's team finished 19th overall but qualified for the
National Road Relay on 27th October. Richard Sinclair regained some of last
winter's form by getting coming in 11th on the first stage. Andrew Allen was
nearly as fast on the second stage moving the team into the top ten.
Unfortunately Andy Prophett suffered a hip injury which slowed him down
considerably. Andy Mawdsley and Alex Wright were also unable to maintain the
pace. Junior Steve Cooper ran to expectations. Conditions were excellent but
all times seemed at least 40 seconds slower than last year - was the course
longer?
