6th October 2001	NORTH STAFFORDSHIRE CROSS COUNTRY RELAYS - STAFFORD
	The senior men's and youths teams defended their titles well. Richard Sinclair got the men off to a great start, looking very comfortable coasting clear of Trentham's Steve Bazell who runs for Stoke AC on the track in the summer. Although an unfit Leigh Dooley temporarily lost the lead by a few seconds, Lee Turner on the third leg really sowed things up for Stoke with an excellent run. Rob Rhodes ran a relaxed last leg to bring the team in. The B team finished an excellent 4th showing with Richard Sinclair running the fourth leg for his second run of the day. The youths ran away from the opposition right from the start eventually winning by more than 4 minutes. Chris Minor was the fastest overall from Wayne Knott.
