Again the team was not at full strength - but commitment by the individuals
there certainly was - 27th overall was a big improvement over last year.
Mike Proudlove started the ball rolling with a good 16th. Matt Jones gained
2 with a promising run after a difficult summer. Richard Sinclair back after
long-term injury felt the heat on a really difficult 3rd leg but rallied to
a more than satisfactory 27th. Pete Benyon, myself and Andy Prophett all ran
well to prevent us loosing any more places over the second half. It should
be noted that conditions were considerable more windy than the Midland 6
stage.
64 Teams completed the event. Stoke AC were 6th Midlands Team (up from 13th
in the Midlands Championships).
