This match was held in the worst weather conditions that I have seen for a while. Inspite of that the team stuck to the task and came away with a very good 3rd place - higher than I could have expected. Special mention to Tom Gayle for his win in the 3000m in the worst of the weather, and to brother Nik for his 100m Hurdles run into the teeth of the wind. All the Under 17s did well, especially Matt Archer who turned out at the last minute and ran 2 events for me that were not his favourites - a true team member, as were they all.
