Considering that the men's team had some first choice members absent, and the women's team had many spaces in it, this was a pleasing result.

David Mountford got things off to a good start with a 2nd in the Long Jump with a seasons best of 6m74. James Dohnal, still Under 20 came 4th in the High Jump, and Andy Allen kept up the momentum with 2nd in the 10,000m. We had a 5th in the 800m with Andy Prophett, 4ht in the 400mH with Danny Thompson, and Paul Nwaolise was 3rd in the 100m.

Morris Fox performed to his usual high standard with a 4th in the Discus and 2nd in the shot. Adrian Brackstone ran a seasons best in the 400m finishing 6th. Steve Bazell was 4th in the 3000mS/C, as was Tom Gayle in the 1500m, and John Danahay in the 5000m.

Neil Fairlamb once again threw over 50m in the Javelin, coming 3rd, and Mike Bourne continued his impressive season with a 4th in the 200m. The 4 x 400m Relay squad took a 3rd place. However, pride of place goes to Nik Gayle, another Under 20 athlete, who was the only individual winner in the 110mH, and he also helped the 4 x 100 Relay squad to a win.
