18 year old Gayle scoops Senior title!

Highlight of the annual Regional event was
Junior Nicholas Gayle taking victory in the 110m hurdles. At just 18 years
old Gayle comfortably took the senior men’s title in a new personal best
of 14.96 with his nearest challenger 0.49 seconds adrift.
The event also saw Morris Fox win his Third
Midland Shot title, to go with his victories in 1996 and 2001, while Rachael
Redmond showed great promise that could see her get close to the 12 second
barrier this season when running 12.20 into a 1.9m headwind to finish second
in the 100m.
