This was another fine team performance, showing how the team is
developing into a formidable side capable of performing well in
a final.
There was a good blend of established star performances; Alex Nelson,
Martin Chomanicz and Andrew Waller in the sprints, Alex Williams and
Andrew Marsh in the Pole Vault, Richard Bailey and Ashley Wilson in
the Triple Jump, Sean Lewis and Tom Dohnal in the throws, and Alex
Derricott, Damian Gallagher and Matt Hubbard in the middle distance;
there was a group of great performances by emerging stars such
as Richard Porter, Fred Mainwaring, Leon Ashman, Andy Davies, Chris
Thompson, Ben Richards, Alex Fotheringham, Matt Lowe and Sam Hart, and
some encouraging performances from first timers, such as Lee Ashley,
Glenn James, Chris Petrusiak and Bruce Bagnall.
With continued effort, we are in a good position to
reach a final again this season.
