Second place behind Trafford was a good result for a Team without a
number of first choice athletes. However there were stunning returns
to form - from
Kate Dennison in the ladies Pole Vault and Louis Moore in the Men's
Long Jump. Jessica Cardall also revealed a considerable new talent in
winning the ladies Triple Jump. In addition it was great to see Craig
Ellams back in winning the Men's hammer in his first competitive
outing after a 3 year absence. Our only other victory was Matt Jones
in the men's 5000m - looking much more relaxed than of late and
indicating that there is still a lot more to come.
