UK WOMEN'S LEAGUE DIVISION 1 - WARE

A great start to the 2005 UKWL with a 5^th place at Ware. A good team performance for the first meeting of the season. The performance of the day was a fine 1500m race won convincingly by Emma Jackson in a personal best performance of 4:29.1 slicing over 10 seconds from her previous best performance. This was a well judged race with both Emma and Clare Booker securing 1^st places. Tracy Fradley also won the B string 400m hurdles. Sophie Lowndes produced a PB in the javelin to take 5^th place in the B event.

Next meeting is on the June 26^th at Stoke where it is hoped a stronger team will add to the success of this competition.
