19/20 Aug 2006 AAA U17 & U15 COMBINED EVENTS CHAMPIONSHIPS - NORTHWOOD

A gold for Chelsea Cooper and a bronze for team-mate Alice Lennox in the U17 championships on their home track were just rewards for their effort and commitment, and coaches Jim Talbot's and Tony William's great work in nurturing their talented squad. Chelsea's points total of 4752 was a new club heptathlon record and her javelin throw of 33.83m was also a club record.

In the younger girls age-group Jess Devaney
and Charlotte James performed well to finish 4th and 7th respectively. The Boys were represented at in the U15 age-group by Josh Barard who competed strongly to finish 8th.
