5-6 August 2006 AAA U15 AND U17 CHAMPIONSHIPS - BIRMINGHAM

City of Stoke's brilliant group of youngsters continued their outstanding form to win 5 gold and 2 bronze medals at this championship.

Kate Holt broke Emma Ward's 10 year old U15 girls club record to win the 1500m race and go top of the UK rankings this year to date.

Ashlee Nelson and Jazmine Rowe yet again dominated the U17 women's sprints.

Multi-eventer Chelsea Cooper was a great 3rd in the U17 women's 80m Hurdles.

Andy Marsh beat the opposition by 50cm to win the U17 Pole Vault again in a new club record.

Brad Garside also ran a brilliant club record to claim the U15 boys 80m Hurdles crown.

Ben Williams claimed bronze in the U15 boy's triple jump.

Just outside the medals, Alice Lennox in the U17 women's long jump and Martin Bartholomew in the U17 men's shot and discus also performed with distinction.
