11/12th Feb 2006  MIDLAND INDOOR COMBINED EVENTS - BIRMINGHAM

This event produced a sack full of medals for Stoke AC's superb multi-events squad coached by Jim Talbot, Tony Williams, Anthony Brannen and Derek Yeomans.

Nikki Brady
came from behind in the 800m to snatch victory in dramatic circumstances in the senior women.

In the senior men's event Sam Bishop also returned to form with a comprehensive win.

Chelsea Cooper
and Alice Lennox produced outstanding performances to take 1st and 2nd in the U17 women's championships. On this occasion it was Chelsea's day but a continuation of this level of performance and internal competition could take both of them all the way to the top!

In the U15 girls Charlotte James and Natasha Stevens finished 2nd and 3rd in the day's biggest field. The in-form Jessica Devaney was very unlucky to be disqualified in the opening event but still posted some good performances in the remaining events.

Not be outdone Jazmin Sawyers and Katie Gardner finished 1st and 2nd in the U13s!
