MIDLANDS
U15 & U17 CHAMPIONSHIPS |
|
|
A small but high quality group of Stoke AC athletes competed
strongly in these championships.
Highlights included a Championship Best Performance by Ashlee Nelson in the
U17 Women's 100m, a comprehensive double win for Chelsea Cooper in the
200m and the 80m
Hurdles, a victory for Brad Garside in the U15 Boys 80m Hurdles, an excellent hammer win from the rapidly improving Rob
Dean, and a typically dominating performance by Martin Bartholomew in the
U17 Discus.
Other medals included silvers for Chelsea Cooper in the long jump, Josh
Barard in the U15 Boys javelin and Martin Bartholomew in the U17 shot. Josh Barard
also got a Bronze in the long
jump, likewise Ben Williams in the U15 Triple Jump. Charlotte James had an excellent run
to gain a bronze in a very competitive U15
Girls 75m Hurdles.
