WEST REGION COMBINED EVENTS - CARLISLE |

Headed by a club record breaking victory for Chelsea Cooper , City of
Stoke's superb squad of multi-eventers, coached by Jim Talbot, Tony Williams
and Anthony Brannen excelled at the regional schools championships in
Carlisle.
Chelsea actually won 6 out of her 7 events, but close behind was Alice
Lennox who finished 3rd overall in the intermediate age-group. Amy Yorke was
8th and helped Staffordshire win the team competition by a clear margin.
At a junior level Jess Devaney (Cheshire) was another Stoke AC athlete to
strike Gold, with Charlotte James (Staffordshire) 3rd. Natasha Stevens also
finished 8th to ensure that Cheshire took Gold in this age-group.
Not to be outdone, Shaun Heath took bronze in the intermediate boys
category.
