12/13th May 2007 CHESHIRE TRACK AND FIELD CHAMPIONSHIPS - MACCLESFIELD

There were some excellent individual results from the Cheshire Championships this year.

Multi-eventer Katie Gardner led the way with 3 wins over 100m, 200m and long jump, and a third place in the 75m hurdles in the U15 age-group.

Her brother James won the U17 men's triple jump.

New sprint recruits Stephen Butterfield and Robert Black also excelled, with Butterfield winning the senior 200m and finishing second in the 100m, whilst Black won both the junior 100m and 200m races.

Kate Anderson set a great new PB in winning the U17 women's 800m.

Josh Kinch set a new PB over 400m, and then grabbed a bronze over 800m the next day in the U17 age-group. His younger brother Luke followed suit with a big improvement over 1500m in the U15 boys.

Another multi-eventer Natasha Stevens was our other winner, winning the U17 women's high jump and gaining silvers over both 80m and 300m hurdles.
