The Mike Morris duo of Gregg Nixon and Martin Bartholomew were the clubs leading performers at part two of the UK Athletics initiative designed to improve the standard of field events in the country in the lead up to 2012.

Unsurprisingly, given the weather many performances were below par, but Nixon and Bartholomew will no doubt have been buoyed that they achieved new lifetime bests in such unfavourable circumstances.
