Stoke AC's crop of outstanding
juniors excelled themselves in tough competition to set themselves up for
World Junior Championships places.
Ashlee Nelson totally dominated her the 100m and 200m with excellent
performances in blustery conditions.
Ben Williams absolutely smashed the rest of the U20 field with an enormous
15.76m triple jump to go second on the UK U17 all time list!
Andy Marsh finished second in the Pole Vault with an equal height with the
winner. Andy has already achieved a World Juniors qualifying height so he
may be selected anyway.
Chelsea Cooper continued on her fantastic comeback trail, narrowly beating
the equally talented Alice Lennox as they finished 2nd and 3rd with
excellent long jumps.
Martin Bartholomew putted an absolutely monster pb 16.55m shot for a well
deserved bronze in the shot.
In the U23 age-group Emma Jackson also returned to form with a strong
performance to comfortably win the 800m.
