10/11th May 2008 CHESHIRE TRACK AND FIELD CHAMPIONSHIPS - ELLESMERE PORT Although there were only a few Stoke AC athletes competing in these championships they all took home at least one medal. Multi eventers Katie Gardner and Natasha Stevens dominated their events in the U15 girls and U17 women's events respectively. Katie won the 200m, the 75m Hurdles and the Long Jump and finished 2nd in the shot. Natasha took gold in the 300m Hurdles and the 80m Hurdles. Katie's brother James won the long jump and got a silver over 100m in the U20 men's age group. Our other winner was sprinter Morgan Brown who won the U20 women's 100m. The only other Stoke AC competitor in the U20 age group, Kate Anderson took silver in the 800m.
