23 February 2008	NATIONAL CROSS COUNTRY CHAMPIONSHIPS - ALTON TOWERS
	A real cross country course with excellent organisation by Staffordshire Moorlands AC saw some great performances from a good turnout of Stoke AC athletes. Even the senior men put in a team appearance in the National for the first time since 1999! Standout performances included Kate Holt, 8th in the U15 girls, Emma Jackson, 15th in the U20 women, Nathan Ainsworth, 30th in the U15 boys and David Sheldon, 48th in the U13 boys.
