City of Stoke AC boys were the club’s best performers at the Midlands Cross Country relays. The U13 team of Jake Barker, Daniel Jones and Seb Rowe won the Gold with a brilliant last gasp finishing effort by Rowe sealing the win. Watch the video here
The U15 boys also performed very strongly with Josh Lally, John Anderson and Charlie Smith taking the Silver medals. Lally was 3rd fastest overall.
The senior men could not defend their title but those present ran really well in finishing 7th in a stronger field this year. Lead off man Korey Hallett-Blanch came back 14th on the first leg, before a good run from Will Neill catapulted the team up into 5th. New recruit Sha Janally dropped 2 places to 9th, but Callum Dillon improved again to 7th overall.
